Core Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is requiredA degree in Business, Commercial & Digital Arts, and Technology or a related field is preferred.
- At least two (2) years of full‑time high school teaching experience. (required).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver rigorous instruction, integrate project‑based learning, and maintain strong student outcomes.
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate (or eligibility) in a 6-12 subject area and/or aligned to the magnet/academy theme. (Candidates pursuing reciprocity or temporary certification must be eligible under Florida statutes.)
- Prior success teaching in academy/magnet programs or advanced academic settings.
- Experience integrating CTE content and preparing students for industry certifications in Business, Commercial & Digital Arts, and Technology.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with external organizations for student internships, mentorships, and authentic learning opportunities.
- Commitment to complete required CTE coursework and pass state CTE examinations relevant to assigned pathways within the first 24 months of employment (tuition/fees may be eligible for reimbursement per KIPP Miami policy).
- Strong proficiency with instructional technology and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Satisfactory background check and fingerprint clearance.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at computer or working at desk and significant fine finger dexterity.
- Often required to stand and sit.   
- Walk frequently and climb stairs.

- Passion for working with children and school personnel

- ESOL endorsement or willingness to obtain within required timelines; additional endorsements (e.g., Gifted, Reading) a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with external organizations for student internships, mentorships, and authentic learning opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage and work closely with a wide range of staff members and external partners

- Degree and/or substantive career experience in Business, Technology, or Health Sciences.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Creole, preferred
